About
Established in 2006 The World Rap Championships is a Professional 2on2 Rap Battle League, made up of 8 Divisions; New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, Atlanta, Houston, Toronto, London and Melbourne. With each Division comprising of 6 teams, the WRC is spread over 6 months and takes place across 3 main phases:

Regular Season (Sep)
Takes place in a single day across each Division, where each team battles the other 5 teams twice, resulting in 10 battles per team. This is then broadcast over 10 weeks. These battles are privately filmed at an undisclosed location.

Play-Offs (Nov)
The 8 Division Winners meet in Las Vegas for the knockout stages which comprise of the Quarter Finals, Semi finals and Finals. The fixtures are decided by a draw where the top seeds are matched against lower seeds. Each battle in the PlayOffs is decided over a best-of-3 series
